Very friendly atmosphere! From the moment you walk in, you feel like family. They genuinely care about your vehicle and, most importantly, your safety. I went in to have a heat shield taken care of, and I was in and out in about 20 minutes! The technicians did a fantastic job, and I truly trust their work. They are fast, efficient, and effective, and I would absolutely recommend this Muffler Man location to anyone who needs any type of automotive work done. I definitely won’t go anywhere else! Thank you for taking great care of my car!

We’ve had such great experiences with Muffler Man in Portage. Every time we’ve needed something, they’ve gotten us in quickly, been upfront and fair with pricing, and had us back on the road in no time. Everyone we’ve worked with has been professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful. It’s hard to find a place you feel like you can trust with your vehicle, and Muffler Man has definitely become that place for us. I highly recommend them!

They go above and beyond I’m a single mother of two boys and they have helped me multiple times and they do amazing job. The lady in the office is awesome. I highly recommend them.

Fast friendly service !

The service tech was beyond 5 stars but the follow up phone call the next day, that never happened, is 0 stars. I was quoted for three things and it seemed a bit pricey but was willing to talk to the scheduler about said pricing. I was told that I would be contacted the next day to discuss the pricing and possibly set up an appointment. Since I didn’t get a follow up call, that gave me the notion that they didn’t want my business. A bit unfortunate because I needed to get this work done right away. Also, I’m not that far away so it would have worked out perfect. I already paid them for the quote so I only thought it would be right for them to follow up with me; like they said they would. Welp - win some lose some. 60$ for a diagnosis isn’t too bad - so there’s that 🤷‍♂️

Very professional, quality work, OEM parts.

The team was very friendly and professional and the technician did a great job welding in the new muffler. I also appreciated them pointing out other potential issues in the future but didn't encourage spending the money on it now, only to be aware of it. Will definitely come back again if in need of any related exhaust work.

I have used them in the past and had great service. I switched to a different mechanic for convenience of location and regret that decision. The other mechanic had attempted to fix an issue 3 times. I finally took it to the Muffler Man. The Muffler Man said they could fix everything for me, but that all my issues were related to the other mechanic's job and that the other mechanic should fix it all for free. The Muffler Man diagnosed all my issues for free, so I took their diagnoses to the other mechanic and was able to get them to fix things for free. I appreciated the Muffler Man taking a look without charging me and then instead of just saying they could fix things, they encouraged me to take it back to the other mechanic to save me money. I will never take my car anywhere else again. I'll take the 30 minute drive to the Muffler Man while knowing I can have peace of mind that they will be fair in pricing and will fix things correctly on the first time. Summary: Honest, quality work, won't rip you off.

LIFE SAVERS! I was recently stranded away from home near Ann Arbor on my way to a funeral in Chicago. Karen and her team left no stone unturned trying to find the part I needed to resume my travels that day. It was hard to find so I spent a good part of the day observing the business practices of Muffler Man. What I saw was a team that provided multiple options to acomodate multiple budgets. A team that was honest when they thought they might not be the best place for the job. A team that was consistently, highly professional. When we ended up needing to go with a used part, they took their estimated price down without me asking...despite the tremendous amount of time they spent calling and driving around to find it. I lucked out with this random/unplanned stop and if I lived here, I would definitely come again! While I missed the funeral ceremony (by alot) I was able to attend the family visitation afterwards and that meant the world! Thank you Muffler Man!
